Ryan Rodriguez, Lubbock-Cooper, QB, Sr.

Rodriguez had the best game of his senior season in a wild 57-56 shootout win against crosstown rival Frenship on Friday night. Rodriguez picked apart the Tigers secondary the entire night and into overtime going 32-of-48 for an eye-popping 483 yards with five touchdown passes. His favorite target on the night was Noah Clark who hauled in 12 catches for 168 yards with two scores.

Reid Macon, West Plains, QB, Sr.

Behind Macon and an entire offensive explosion, the West Plains Wolves were able to beat Bushland for the first time in program history in their fourth and did it convincingly 45-0 on Friday night at Happy State Bank Stadium. Macon was in total command of the offense and took his time picking apart the Falcons defense going 16-of-26 for 312 yards with five touchdown passes.

Max Neff Pampa, RB, Sr.

The four-year standout helped the Harvesters to their first win of the year in a blasting of arch-rival Borger 56-26 on Friday night. Neff went over the century mark for a fourth straight game piling up 187 yards rushing on only 14 carries with three touchdowns including a 39-yard score.

Koen Galligan, Childress, QB, Jr.

Childress won its third straight game blowing out Sunray 72-22 on Friday night in Stinnett. Quarterback Koen Galligan had the best game of his young career with an unforgettable performance. Galligan was on point the entire night going 17-of-26 passing for 332 yards with an impressive seven touchdowns.

Gordo Estrada, Perryton, WR, Jr.

Estrada along with his quarterback Cooper Schilling are becoming one of the top passing combinations in West Texas. During a 38-28 victory at home against Hereford on Friday, that Estrada proved once more why he’s Schilling’s favorite target showing his speed to snag eight catches for 112 yards with a pair of TDs.

Palo Duro linebacker Keima’j Barnes had 17 total tackles during a win against Amarillo High on Friday. [James Abel/ Press Pass Sports]

Keima’j Barnes, Palo Duro, LB, Sr.

Barnes was a part of a Palo Duro defensive effort that shut down an explosive Amarillo High offense and got Palo Duro a convincing 35-14 win in the 66th meeting of Amarillo’s oldest rivalry. The senior linebacker was in on every play racking up a total of 17 tackles with three of those solo. Behind Barnes and the Dons defense, AHS had 67 yards in the second half and held quarterback Jett Lopez to 69 yards passing.

Callen Kane, Wellington, QB, Jr.

Wellington stayed undefeated with a huge 44-22 road win at Lubbock Christian High School on Friday night. Kane is showing that the Skyrockets are more than just a run team completing 16-of-24 attempts for 177 yards with four touchdowns. He also added 26 yards rushing in the win.

Cedric Ross, Lubbock Estacado, RB, Sr.

For a second straight week, Ross is putting on highlight reels that is proving why he is a legit Division I talent. The Matador speedster proved too much for Sweetwater in a 44-21 victory. Ross ate up the Mustangs with 198 yards rushing and caught two touchdown passes.

Colton Bichard, Lubbock-Cooper Liberty, QB, Sr.

Not many teams look better than Lubbock-Cooper Liberty at the moment after the Patriots put on an offensive show downing Seminole 63-27 on Friday night. Quarterback Colton Bichard is only getting better by the week as the Indians had no answer for the dual-threat signal caller. Bichard Bichard threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.

Kaden Carpio, Dimmitt, QB, Jr.

Dimmitt is quietly 3-1 and Carpio is quietly running for massive yards each week. During an 83-38 rout of Morton on Friday, the Bobcat offense chewed up the Indians for 550 yards rushing. Carpio paced that ground attack slicing and dicing his way to 211 yards on only 19 carries scoring a game-high six touchdowns.
