The Sandies quarterback was in total during a 38-7 win over Bell Street rival Randall. Maynard ran for two touchdowns, and was 20 of 32 for 220 yards.

Bo Christie, Canyon, Sr. LB

Each week the senior proves why he is the heart and soul of the Eagles defense. Christi dominated for Canyon in a 42-20 victory over Caprock, making a game-high 15 tackles, nine of which were solo tackles, including a tackle for a loss.

Charles Barnes, Dumas, Sr. LB

Barnes was all over the field making life miserable for Plainview Friday night. The senior tallied nine tackles, six of them solo, three and half sacks, two tackles for a loss with a fumble recovery

Jared Thomas, Bushland, Sr. QB

Thomas has been on fire all season and he didn’t slow down when his Falcons pulled away for a 38-13 victory against Perryton. Thomas did most of his damage in the second half, finishing the game 19 of 33 for 333 yards and four TD tosses.

Tucker Bridwell, Pampa, Sr. QB

Pampa’s prolific passer had his best game of the year during the Harvesters 34-28 Homecoming win over Levelland.

Bridwell shredded the Lobos secondary, going 27 of 48 for 403 yards and four touchdowns.

LaDaryl Smith, Dalhart, Sr. WR

The senior receiver had a huge night in the Golden Wolves 35-34 upset of Shallowater on Friday. Smith not only pulled down six catches for 92 yards that included the eventual game-winning touchdown on a 38-yard reception from quarterback Brennan Lloyd.

Iuden Romero, Stratford, Sr. RB-WR

The versatile do-it-all player was everywhere for the Elks during a 54-0 blistering of formerly unbeaten Spearman. When lined up in the backfield, the shifty Romero ran all over the Spearman defense nine times for 89 yards with a touchdown. When lined up in the slot, he nabbed four passes for 105 yards and two more TDs.

Marc Ramirez, Wellington, So. LB

The sensational sophomore was stellar both both sides of the ball for the Skyrockets in 28-12 win over West Texas High. Defensively, he made 14 tackles with a sack and interception. Offensively, he rushed for 119 yards with a TD.

Houston Heck, Panhandle, Sr., RB

Panhandle’s Swiss army knife was too much for Vega to handle as Heck helped the Panthers to a 49-6 W. Heck carried the ball 17 times for 187 yards with a score. He also had a touchdown catch of 13 yards in the victory.

Trey Aguero, Dimmitt, So. RB

The shifty running back led the Bobcats to their first win of the season, 31-21, against Crosbyton. The sophomore was hard to bring down 238 rushing yards with three touchdowns.
