Week 3 of the Texas High School football season saw a lot of exciting action across the Texas Panhandle and South Plains. Check out recaps from Class 6A to Class 2A across the Texas Panhandle and South Plains. Frenship picked up its first win of the season blasting Wichita Falls Legacy. Amarillo High stayed perfect on the year beating Midland High and Childress took down Frederick, Okla.

Frenship routs Legacy

The Frenship Tigers got in the win column in a huge way at home, dominating young Wichita Falls Legacy and rolling to a 61-14 victory.

Quarterback Quade Ferris, who transferred from Bushland, had a huge game to spark the Tigers (1-2). Ferris completed 19-of-26 passes for 388 yards and four touchdowns.

Frenship had two receivers go over 100 yards, as Chase Campbell had seven catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns and Hayden Wilson had six catches for 130 yards. Zade McClure had six catches for 95 yards and three scores.

Overall, Frenship piled up an astonishing 716 yards of total offense.
