It was a busy three days of playoff and regular season volleyball across the Texas Panhandle.

Action started Thursday, as No. 3-ranked Hereford stayed red hot by sweeping disrict foe Pampa in a Class 4A regional quarterfinal matchup, 25-8, 25-18, 25-15, to advance back to the regional semifinals for a second straight year.

Pampa ends a solid year at 16-11. The Lady Whitefaces move to 24-1 and will now meet No. 4 Decatur (25-1) in a regional semifinal showdown at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Childress.
