Brabham was on fire the entire night against the Lady Wildcats dropping in a career-high 38 points and 11 rebounds to go for a double-double. Brabham added eight steals with six blocks. The junior finished the game going 12-of-24 from the field and three-of-6 from beyond the arc.

Through the Lady Patriots first seven games, Brabham is pouring in 16.8 points a night while averaging 7.8 rebounds and four steals a contest.

Coach Kiki Brabham: “For being this early in the season I love the way we’re playing. We still have a lot of room to grow but we return a very veteran team so we’re kind of picking up where we left off last year. Harlie has seen a lot of growth herself. I’ve seen it in her leadership, and she’s matured as a basketball player. Her self-discipline is much improved and she’s very composed. Against River Road we had some players out for the holidays so her being able to be so versatile and step up was huge. But she’ll always be the first to credit her teammates because she knows she can’t do it without them.”

Brabham: “I feel like we’re playing very good as a team, and we have a lot of chemistry. I feel I’ve come a long way from last year and I’m playing some of my best basketball because of the chemistry we have. I’ve been making smarter decisions, not getting into foul trouble and taking much better shots than I did last year. I feel like though it’s early in the year things are clicking, and we just want to continue to grow and get better.”
