UIL high school girls basketball state semifinal playoff pairings

The Texas High school basketball girls UIL state semifinals get underway Monday and Tuesday night with the winners advancing to San Antonio to play at the state championships. There are four Texas Panhandle and South Plains teams remaining that include Shallowater, Panhandle, Gruver and Nazareth.

CLASS 6A
State semifinals

Division I

Flower Mound (28-8) vs. Cedar Hill (29-10), 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wilkerson-Greines Center, Fort Worth

Humble Summer Creek (33-4) vs. San Antonio Brennan (34-4), TBD

Division II

Denton Braswell (28-6) vs. Lancaster (31-5), 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Arlington ISD Center

Pearland Shadow Creek (33-4) vs. Austin Westlake (39-0), 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Brenham High School

CLASS 5A
State semifinals

Division I

Denton Ryan (35-4) vs. Prosper Walnut Grove (34-5), 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Curtis Culwell Center, Garland

La Porte (30-7) vs. Leander Glenn (34-3), 5 p.m. Tuesday, Mumford High School
