Dumas snaps long losing skid to Randall
The Dumas Demons pulled off some big-time history Tuesday night in a stunning 72-70 win at Randall during a key District 4-4A clash.
With the thrilling victory, Dumas earned its first win against Randall in 24 years on the hardwood. Prior to Tuesday, the Demons last win against the Raiders was Jan. 15, 2002, by a 55-49 count.
Dumas stays in the playoff hunt thanks to the epic win, improving to 4-4 in the league and 14-11 overall. Randall slips to 5-2 in district and 8-18 on the year.

Chris Jiminez had a huge night for Dumas, scoring a team-high 19 points on 8-of-19 shooting from the floor and was 3-of-10 from beyond the arc. Teammate Brice Garcia was also stellar, adding 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting and was 3-for-4 at the charity stripe. Kelton Dill did his part, posting 15 points behind four, 3-pointers.
Pampa stays in fourth place in 4-4A
The Pampa Harvesters were able to hustle past Borger for a convincing 65-30 win at home Tuesday night.
The win was big, especially considering the Dumas victory, as the Harvesters stay a game up on the Demons for the final playoff spot with six games remaining in the regular season. Pampa is sitting at 5-3 in the league and are now 19-9 overall.
Standout Dalton Booth led the way for Pampa scoring a game-high 15 points.
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY’S TOP PERFORMERS
- Bushland’s Jenner King was able to celebrate a special milestone in the Falcons 61-43 win at Tulia. King posted 19 points, putting him over 1,000 for his career.
- Follett’s Logan Meeks knocked down a game-winning 3-pointer from the right wing as time expired giving the Panthers a thrilling 37-34 win over rival Booker on Tuesday. Meeks finished the game with 10 points.
- Ethan Paulo of Boys Ranch lit up Pringle-Morse for 30 points during the Roughriders 68-45 rout of the Cougars.
- Valley’s Corbin Taylor continues to cruise, coasting to 30 points in a Patriots 68-28 pummeling of Paducah.
- Clarendon’s Mike Randall scored a game-high 27 points highlighted by an emphatic dunk to lead the Broncos past Quanah 69-64.
- Hedley picked up a big win, downing Lefors 40-38. Payton Inman did all he could, pouring in a game-best 20 points.
- Maddix Blanco of Dalhart carried on his strong year with 15 points as the Golden Wolves rolled by River Road 82-28.
- Fort Elliott’s Kaleb Castillo was lights out thanks to a game-high 23 points to help the Cougars down Darrouzett 69-34.
- Braddock Foster tallied 19 points for Farwell as the Steers earned a thrilling 52-50 win at home against Hale Center on Wednesday night. Foster was clutch at the free-throw line, going 9-for-11 on the evening.
- Hartley’s Carter Pyle put up a game-high 17 points in the Tigers 60-46 victory over Wildorado.
