TUESDAY’S QUICK HITS
Due to high winds and fire danger Tuesday, four games were moved from Tuesday. Bushland and Childress, along with Dalhart and Tulia were moved to Wednesday night. Gruver is taking on Sanford-Fritch on Wednesday, and Stratford will battle Spearman on Thursday.
Amarillo High and Tascosa shared the District 3-5A championship after getting wins Tuesday night. The Sandies downed Lubbock Coronado 45-22, while Tascosa took care of Caprock 66-45. It has been decided that Tascosa will be the No. 1-seed out of District 3-5A Division I and Amarillo High will be the No. 2-seed in Division I.

In a win or go home scenario, Memphis took down Quanah 61-54 at home to grab the fourth and final playoff spot out of District 2-2A. The Cyclones (20-11) will be the No. 2-seed in Division II. In that win against the Indians, Armando Saenz paced Memphis with 17 points.
Kress was able to keep its playoff hopes alive by getting a 46-31 win against Silverton in a District 4-1A game Tuesday. The Kangaroos and Owls will now meet in a play-in situation at 7 p.m. Thursday at Tulia High School.
TUESDAY’S TOP PERFORMERS
- Canadian post player Riggs Pennington showed up big in his final home game, posting 34 points in an 88-28 blowout win over River Road.
- Farwell’s Braddock Foster continues to shine each and every week. In the regular season finale for the Steers Tuesday, which resulted in a 72-46 win against Sudan, Foster piled up a game-high 29 points.
- Randall’s Cam Taylor had quite the back-to-back games against Borger on Monday and Tuesday, combining for 28 points. Hardy went for 14 points during Monday’s 105-67 win over the Bulldogs Monday, and then another 14 on Tuesday at Borger.
- Abernathy’s Darion Duvall knocked down nine field goals, on his way to 26 points that helped push the Antelopes past New Deal 75-64.
- Palo Duro’s Julian Reese II showed off his skill on the hardwood, leading the Dons with 17 points in a 71-44 win against Lubbock-Cooper.
- Tascosa’s Ty Collins posted 19 points during a 66-45 win over Caprock.
- Reid Macon can do it all and that showed Tuesday in a 90-42 win at Pampa. The West Texas A&M football signee dropped in a team-high 16 points as the Wolves finished District 4-4A a perfect 14-0.
- Zane Schulte continued his recent tear, tallying a game-best 24 points in a Nazareth 93-50 thumping of Lazbuddie.
- Redyn Rosales of Booker lit up Miami for 22 points during the Kiowas 58-30 win on Tuesday night.
- Wellington’s Jimmy Cantu and Armando Hinojosa combined for 32 points in a 71-16 win over Highland Park. Cantu and Hinojosa both finished with 16 a piece.
