Players to watch
Israel Arana, 5-7, 130-pounds, WR-DB, Jr.
Arana is part of a very strong wide receivers group returning for the Hornets and a playmaker on the defensive side. Last season as a sophomore, Arana had 380 yards receiving with a pair of touchdowns and made 30 tackles on defense.
Josh Marler, 6-0, 210-pounds, QB, Sr.
Marler is back for his second season under center giving coach Stout trust at the most important position. Marler had growing pains last year but did throw for 1,032 yards with 11 touchdowns.
Thomas Phan, 5-9, 150-pounds, RB-LB, Sr.
Phan helps balance out a talented offense and gives Highland Park more than just a passing threat. Phan had a durable season in 2024 rushing for 500 yards on only 73 carries.
