Archer was part of a historic afternoon for Amarillo ISD last Wednesday at the UIL State Tennis Tournament in San Antonio, as Amarillo High captured two gold medals and a sliver. 

First United Bank Boys Athlete of the Week: Brenen Thompson, Spearman

Athlete of the Week Kale Steed -
Brenen Thompson, Spearman track, Sr. - Thompson ran a time of 10.22 seconds in the prelims of the 100, breaking the meet record he set the year before. He slowed slightly in winning with a 10.29 in the finals, but he did anything but slow down in the 200.
