Here’s a look at the Amarillo College volleyball team heading into the 2025 season. Take a listen to head coach Scott Sandel and select in the link above. The Badgers are in the fourth year as a volleyball program and the third under former Tascosa head coach Sandel. Sandel is optimistic about the returning players and the recruits he brought in for 2025.

Players to watch
Jayli Franklin, 5-10, outside hitter, Soph.
The West Plains graduate made the transition well to the college game as a freshman last season with 211 kills to go with 133 digs.
Jaelynn Jackson, 5-8, middle blocker, Soph.
Jackson is expected to have an even bigger role this year after posting a freshman season at the net that saw 99 kills and 45 blocks.
Madeline Lenz, 5-7, setter, Soph.
Lenz did a superb job at the setter position as a freshman for Amarillo College and it showed by handing out 323 assists.
London Baker, 5-9, setter, Fr.
Baker is one of the incoming freshmen to keep an eye on for Amarillo College. Baker was a standout at Hereford where she is coming off a senior year earning District 4-4A Co-Offensive MVP honors with 427 assists and 415 kills.
