Players to watch

Noah Cantu, 5-10, 180-pounds, RB-LB, Sr.

The Skyrockets replace quite a few pieces, but they do return the top rusher in Cantu. The hard-nosed back piled up 628 yards last season with 12 touchdowns and will be a huge leader entering 2025. Cantu is also a key cog at linebacker finishing the year with 90 tackles.

Callen Kane, 6-2, 175-pounds, QB-DB, Jr.

Kane was thrusted into a leadership role as the starting quarterback and flourished in a hurry last season throwing for 1,794 yards with 25 touchdowns. After a great spring and summer, the expectation is even bigger for Kane entering his junior year.

Dixon Dugan, 6-2, 205-pounds, OL-DL, Sr.

The two-way lineman isn’t the biggest but provides speed and vision and most importantly accountability. Dugan will lead a line that is prideful in carrying on an always powerful run attack at Wellington.
