Players to watch

Darien Lewis, 6-1, 200 pound, ATH, Jr.

Lewis exploded onto the scene as a sophomore with a prolific year for the Dons in 2023. The extremely versatile athlete and Division I prospect can be utilized all over the field for head coach Eric Mims. Last year, playing quarterback Lewis threw and ran for over 1,000 yards. Expect to see Lewis in multiple positions this season and a big use in the secondary.

Charlie Love, 5-9, 165 pound, WR-DB, Sr.

Love is another dangerous skill player for coach Eric Mims and the Dons. The multisport athlete racked up over 400 yards receiving last year and will have more of an impact in the offense this year.

KJ Barnes, 5-10, 210 pound, LB, Jr.

Coach Mims loves everything about what Barnes brings to the defense. A starting running back last year, Barnes will see offensive snaps but his main role will be anchoring the Dons defense and making plays all over the field.
