The Playoffs are here

There was plenty on the line with district championships and playoff spots up in the air going into Tuesday’s final night of the regular season. Here’s how it all played out across the Texas Panhandle.

District 3-5A

Despite a 62-58 loss at the hands of Palo Duro in the regular season finale on Tuesday, the Amarillo High Sandies are still the outright District 3-5A champions. Tascosa will be the No. 2-seed and the Dons will be third. Plainview takes the fourth and final spot.

District 4-4A

Canyon wrapped up a perfect district schedule by downing Perryton 75-44. Randall will be the No. 2-seed, West Plains is the third seed in its first season and Hereford claimed the fourth and final spot.

District 1-3A

Bushland and Spearman both won on Tuesday night splitting the District 1-3A championship. After a deciding flip, Bushland will be the No. 1-seed and Spearman is the two-seed. Dalhart and Canadian are both in the playoffs but will decide the third and fourth spot at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

District 2-3A

Childress and Shallowater both won on Tuesday night splitting the District 2-3A championship. After a flip, Shallowater is the No. 1-seed and Childress will be the two-seed. Idalou nabbed the No. 3-seed and Abernathy is in the fourth spot.

District 3-3A

Lamesa beat Littlefield 59-47 on Tuesday night to claim the outright District 3-3A championship. Littlefield takes the second spot after the loss. Dimmitt downed Denver City 59-44 to pull into a third-place tie with Brownfield. After a flip, Dimmitt is the No. 3-seed and Brownfield will get the fourth spot.

District 1-2A

Gruver won the league crown at a perfect 10-0 and will be the No. 1-seed. Stratford finished second, while Booker is third. West Texas High and Sanford-Fritch tied for the fourth and final spot and will have a play-in game at 6 p.m. Friday at Sanford-Fritch High School.

District 2-2A

Clarendon and Wellington both won on Tuesday night splitting the District 2-2A championship. After a flip, Clarendon will be the No. 1-seed and Wellington the No. 2-seed. Shamrock upset Wheeler on Tuesday night which forced the Mustangs and Quanah into a tie for third place. Wheeler and Quanah will have a third place seeding game set for 6 p.m. Friday in Childress.

District 3-2A

Farwell finished off a perfect district season by beating Bovina 57-51 on Tuesday night. Panhandle has secured the second-place spot, Vega is the No. 3-seed and Bovina will be the No. 4-seed.

District 1-1A

The scenario is simple in this district. Follett is the champion and top seed, Miami is the two, McLean is third and Fort Elliott is the fourth and final seed.

District 2-1A

Silverton won the outright District 2-1A championship thanks to a 10-0 mark. Groom is the No. 2-seed, Valley is third and Hedley is the four-seed.

District 3-1A

Texline dominated the district at a perfect 8-0 and will be the No. 1-seed. Wildorado is second, Adrian came in third and Pringle-Morse will be in the playoffs in its first season as the No. 4-seed.

District 4-1A

Nazareth is the outright champion at 10-0. Happy is the No. 2-seed, and Springlake-Earth is third. Kress and Hart will play for the fourth and final spot at 6 p.m. Wednesday night at Springlake-Earth.
