Zayla Tinner, Amarillo High, 5-foot-10, Sr. Forward
There hasn’t been a dynamic a player in the Texas Panhandle over the past three years than Tinner. The 5-foot-10 forward has helped the Lady Sandies to back-to-back Class 5A state championships, she’s a two-time District 3-5A MVP, as well as a two-time Amarillo Globe-News Super Team Player of the Year. Last season, Tinner was also honored by being named the TABC Class 5A Player of the Year.
Through 25 games this senior season, Tinner is averaging 14.8 ppg, three rebounds and 2.3 steals.
Jada Miller, Tascosa, 5-foot-9, Sr. Guard
Miller has stepped up as the Lady Rebels captain for head coach Betsie Baughman. Night in and night out, the senior leaves it on the floor scoring 22.2 ppg, shooting 49.5 percent from the field, while grabbing three rpg.
Kennadee Winfrey, Canyon, 5-foot-11, Jr. Forward
Winfrey is making up time from missing all of last season with a leg injury. The Division I prospect, who has three offers from Stephen F. Austin State, Abilene Christian and UT Arlington, is having a superb season for a tradition-rich Canyon team that is 19-1 overall. Through those 20 games, Winfrey is putting up 10 points a game with five boards and two steals per contest.
Bailey Maupin, Gruver, 5-foot-9, Soph. Guard
The Gruver guard has caught the eye of several Division I college coaches. She may only be a sophomore, however, her game speaks volumes with eight Division I offers from school’s that include LSU, Texas, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State. Maupin’s ability to play both the perimeter and in the paint is beneficial, scoring 17.1 ppg and averaging close to seven rebounds a night.
Cambrie Heiman, Nazareth, 5-foot-10, Sr. Post

The highly-touted post will go down as one of the best to ever wear a Swiftettes uniform. Over her storied career, Heiman has won three Class 1A state championships, was the state tournament MVP in 2018, and has been a three-time All-State selection. The post player has picked up where she left off this senior year by averaging 17 ppg with four rpg.
Mason Jones, Panhandle, 5-foot-10, Jr. Guard
The junior guard has carried the reigns in a long list of great players to come through Panhandle. Jones uses her length to score from outside, and is dangerous off the dribble. During the Ettes 18-3 start to the year, Jones is averaging 13.7 ppg, 3.3 rpg per game and nabbing 3.1 steals.
Mattie Boyd, Canadian, 6-foot, Soph. Post
It’s hard to find a more physical precense in thr paint than Canaidan’s sophomore post player. Boyd plays with a tenacious attitude and dominated on the block by pouring in 18.8 ppg those season, adding 8.2 rpg snd 2.7 steals.
Mia Pipkin, Spearman, 5-foot-11, Jr. Post
The Lynxettes post player has quietly put together a terrific season for second-year head coach Kurt Richardson. Pipkin isn’t a household name as of yet, but give it time. On the year she’s scoring 19.1 ppg, shooting 65 percent from the field, and averaging over eight boards a night.
Kaylee Jo Neeley, Wellington, 6-foot, Sr. Post
The hard working post player has steadily improved over the years for head coach Chris Sumrall. Now a senior, Neeley’s role has changed into a leader for the Lady Skyrockets, who are 17-5 overall. Neeley’s numbers don’t lie, averaging close to 14 points and six rebounds on the season.
Caden Carter, McLean, 5-foot-6, Sr. Guard
The Tigerette’s star guard is the heart and soul of McLean’s team. Carter is a four-year starter that can score, rebound and defend. The do-it-all senior is having a great senior season scoring 15.2 ppg, with 5.8 rpg, and getting 2.1 steals per contest.
