Joseph Plunk, Tascosa, Sr. QB

Plunk put on a performance that will live at Dick Bivins Stadium for years to come. During a clutch 36-23 win over Frenship that helped the Rebels seal a home playoff game, the masterful option quarterback set a school-record, rushing for 312 yards on 42 carries, scoring all five of Tascosa’s touchdowns.

Blake Bedwell, Amarillo High, Sr. RB

The hard running Bedwell had an outstanding Senior night, giving the Abilene Cooper defense all they wanted. Bedwell bruised his way to 88 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns, helping the Sandies to the District 2-5A Division I title.

Caleb Suggs, Dumas, Sr. DB

What a Friday it was for Suggs and the Demons as they celebrated its first undefeated season in 22 years with a 45-13 victory against Hereford. Suggs sparked Dumas early with a key interception that set up the Demons first touchdown. He added a second half interception and made six solo tackles.

Tucker Bridwell, Pampa, Sr. QB.

The talented gunslinger bounced back from a rough outing against Dumas, totaling 383 yards of offense in a 36-31 win against Canyon. Bridwell was 23 of 23 for 288 yards with two touchdowns. Bridwell even broke loose for 95 yards rushing.

Brandon Belcher, River Road, Sr. RB

River Road may have been the surprise of week 11, stunning Littlefield 41-20 to grab the fourth and final playoff spot out of District 2-3A Division. Littlefield struggled to stop the powerful Belcher, who ran for three touchdowns on 137 yards on 20 carries.

Iuden Romero, Stratford, Sr. SB-DB

Stratford’s Swiss Army knife had a night to remember leading the Elks to a district title during a 47-12 win against Gruver. Romero rushed for 227 yards and four touchdowns on 16 carries. That put the senior over the 1,000-yard mark, with 1,030 on the season. Defensively, he made seven tackles and ball hawked three of the teams five interception,

John Michael Holcomb, Wellington, Sr. TE-DE

The 6-foot-5, 220 pound Texas Tech commit was all over the field as the Skyrockets won a district championship by beating Wheeler, 38-18. Holcomb carried it 18 times for 108 yards. He also blocked a punt and was a major factor on defense with eight tackles, a sack, and two pass deflections.

Cuyler Feger, Perryton, So. WR

Feger got the momentum rolling for the Rangers, returning the opening kickoff 65-yards. That return was a part of a big night for Perryton as they clinched a playoff spot. Feger went on to score another touchdown, adding a two-point conversion, and had an interception on defense.

Carson Kirkland, Vega, Sr. QB

Vega went relied on its senior captain to get them an important road win at Clarendon that clinched the Longhorns a No. 2-seed out of District 3-2A Division II. The Broncos struggled with Kirkland, who totaled 187 yards with three touchdowns.

Cole Emery, Bovina, Jr. QB

The Mustangs are in the playoffs and Emery is a big reason why. The dual-threat QB was elusive, totaling 220 yards with three rushing touchdowns against Spinglake-Earth.
