WTAMU finished the year 26-4 overall and the LSC regular season champions. The Buffs will open the regional at the First United Bank Center against No. 8-seed and rival Angelo State (19-10) at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Buffs swept the season series from the Rams during the regular season.

Dallas Baptist (24-5) drew the No. 4-seed and will play Colorado School of Mines (24-8) at 7:30 p.m. in a quarterfinal on Saturday night.
