Here’s a look a look at the Region I high school girls’ basketball regional semifinal playoff pairings for Monday and Tuesday across the Texas Panhandle and South Plains. There are some intense matchups to keep an eye on that include Frenship vs. Rock Hill, Tascosa taking on Joshua, Gruver battling Whiteface and Nazareth facing Guthrie.

CLASS 6A
Regional semifinals 

Division II 

Byron Nelson (24-10) vs Denton Braswell (26-6), 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Denton High School 

Frenship (29-8) vs. Rock Hill (22-13), 5 p.m. Tuesday, Abilene Wylie High School 

CLASS 5A
Regional semifinals 

Division I

Tascosa (31-3) vs. Joshua (35-4), 3 p.m. Monday, Childress High School 

Denton Ryan (33-4) vs. El Paso Americas (29-4), 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Midland Legacy High School 

Division II

Lubbock Monterey (25-10) vs. Grapevine (21-12), 7 p.m. 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Abilene Wylie High School 

Palo Duro (28-10) vs. Argyle (30-5), 5 p.m. Monday, Childress High School
