A handful of track and field meets took place during spring break week across the Texas Panhandle and on the South Plains on Thursday and Friday.

Highlighting the Amarillo-area was the annual St. Patrick’s Day Relays in Shamrock on Thursday where the Canadian teams made it a clean sweep. The Wildcats totaled 178 points for the boys team title while the Lady Cats scored 160 points to win.
