The 2026 UIL high school track and field season has come to an end with Texas Panhandle and South Plains athletes posting eye-popping performances last week at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin.
The Canyon Lady Eagles won a UIL Class 4A co-state championship led by senior Addyson Bristow’s three gold medals. The Panhandle Ettes took second place as a team in Class 2A and McLean’s Hailo Moon set a new personal mark to win a gold medal in the Class 1A shot put event.
