The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs kept their winning ways going holding on for a 1-0 shutout win against Grand Valley State in the NCAA Division II College World Series national quarterfinals Thursday night at the Regency Athletic Complex in Denver, Colo.

The No. 6-seeded Lady Buffs (37-11) have now won 17 of their last 18 games, and move on to the winners bracket to play No. 2-seed Saint Anselm at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

San Anselm won its opening round contest defeating West Chester, 3-2, Thursday.
