High School volleyball district roundup – West Plains shakes things up with win over Randall, Shallowater clinches share of District 2-3A championship

With the final week of the regular season approaching, district play got very interesting over the weekend with teams across the Texas Panhandle and South Plains. Take a look at a recap including West Plains win against Randall, Shallowater’s victory over Childress and Wildorado’s key win at home against Shamrock.

District 4-4A

In the span of a week, the Randall Lady Raiders went from being in control of District 4-4A to now finding themsevles in a three-way to for the district lead after dropping a second match in four days.

West Plains avenged a loss in the first half of league play to Randall nabbing a 25-11, 25-21, 25-18 sweep of Randall at the Wolves Gym on Saturday.

The victory pulls the Lady Wolves (28-11 overall) into a first-place tie with Randall (24-14) in the district at 11-2 with only two games remaining.
