Thursday games

Amarillo High (3-1, 1-0) at Monterey (2-2, 1-0), 7 p.m. A share of first place with the Rebs is on the line;

Monterey at home plays like fine wine.

Can Sandies QB Brock Wade find Lemmons again;

Wichita Falls High (1-2, 0-1) at Randall (2-3, 0-1), 7 p.m. Old High rolls into this one still a bit of a mystery team;

Meanwhile, Randall proved last week it can play supreme.

Coach Selman and his Raiders are hungrier than all get out,

Friday games

Palo Duro (0-4, 0-1) at Lubbock Coronado (4-0, 0-0), 7 p.m. The Don started last week impressing with a 90 yard drive;

But it wasn’t enough to keep the upset bit alive.

Tascosa (4-1, 2-0) vs. Lubbock High (2-4, 0-2)

Lubbock Cooper (4-1, 1-0) at Plainview (2-2, 0-0), 7 p.m. Cooper is the real deal, that’s for sure;

Not exactly the team Plainview needs to find a cure.

Cooper will find the checkerboard endzone in Bulldog land,

Abilene Wylie (2-0, 0-0) at Wichita Falls Rider (4-1, 1-0), 7 p.m. A lot of eyes will be on this game, no doubt;

Who knows what Wylie is really about?

Rider has a district title in its sight;

Dumas (7-1, 1-0) at Canyon (7-0, 1-0), 7 p.m. My, my, my what do we have here;
