From Caprock to Randall – Building Better Athletes and People

Coach Sherwood’s most memorable moments aren’t about championships or single games, but about seeing kids develop every year.

He’s faced tough opponents like Stephenville, but it’s the growth and progress of his players that fuels his passion for coaching.

Singing, Food, and Level-Headed Wisdom

A hidden talent? Coach Sherwood can sing! He loves all kinds of food for his pre-game meal and, if not coaching, could see himself in engineering or construction.

The best advice he’s received: “Never as good as it seems, and never as bad as it seems”—a reminder to keep things in perspective.
