Idalou’s fast start overpowers Littlefield

In a battle of the Wildcats, Idalou protected its territory in a commanding 42-7 home win over Littlefield during a District 2-3A Division II matchup on Friday night at Wildcats Stadium.

Idalou set the tone from the jump, forcing a fumble on the opening kickoff, and never looking back.

“Littlefield is explosive, and we knew we’d have our hands full against them,” Idalou head coach Clay White said. “Like we have done lately, we were able to make a play early and that was big. We took advantage of that, and I think that helped us set the tone.”
