District 1-1A/ 2-1A Area meet

White Deer carried on the momentum from a late season surge of winning a district title by making it another sweep this time of the District 1-2A/ District 2-2A Area track and field team titles on Wednesday on their home turf.

The Does captured the girls championship with a total of 142 points with the Bucks finishing with 135 points.

Standout Faith Jackson was once again fantastic for White Deer during the meet qualifying for regionals in four events winning four gold medals. Jackson started her medal haul winning the long jump leaping a 15-8 1/2. During the running events, she won the 100-meter dash sprinting to a 12.38 then was a part of the 800-meter relay team that captured a title with a 1:54.76. Jackson ended her afternoon on top once again with a win in the 200-meter race thanks to a 26.64.
