Know this. Denton Guyer is so legit it’s ridiculous with its only loss to unbeaten Southlake Carroll and lowest scoring game 42 points over the last seven games. The thing to watch in this one is if Tascosa can slow Guyer dual-threat quarterback Eli Stowers ( Texas A&M committ). Like hold Guyer to 35 points. It’s a rematch of last year’s state quarterfinal, and a game that fans have been anxiously waiting for since practices opened in August. And how bout the setting? Buffaloes Stadium is a premiere venue with tremendous energy. The perfect place for a game of this magnitude. As for the contest, the Wildcats beat the Antelopes in a defense clash last year. There will be plenty of points scored in this one, but obviously it’s going to be which defense can slow the opponent and force turnovers.
