We are entering the home stretch of the UIL high school softball and baseball playoffs. The softball postseason has two weeks left with the Dumas Demonettes left as the lone Texas Panhandle team still standing. The Demonettes will battle Prosper Richland in the state semifinals. On the baseball side of things, there are still five squads remaining across the Texas Panhandle and South Plains that include West Plains and Gruver.
