Players to watch

Colton Mills, 5-10, 160-pounds, QB, Jr.

Mills has worked quickly already becoming the all-time leading passer in Dumas football history by his sophomore season a year ago. Mills was sensational playing his first full year of varsity football throwing for 3,016 yards with 33 touchdowns. As a junior, coach Dunnam and the Demons already look at Mills as a leader.

Gael Cardenas, 6-2, 265-pounds, OL, Sr.

Protecting Mills in the trenches is the beefy senior Cardenas. With his size, agility and strength Cardenas is the complete package on the offensive line. Last year, the 265-pounder graded out at 90 percent with six pancake blocks.

Blake Robinson, 6-2, 170-pounds, WR-DB, Sr.

Though his season came to an end early due to injury, Robinson is back to full strength and looking for a big senior season. Robinson will be a big help on the outside for Mills and will be clutch in the secondary. In seven games before getting hurt, Robinson had 503 yards receiving with four touchdowns.
