Over the past year, and as we chronicled in our recent articles, we’ve been finding new ways to “pick up the slack” in local sports coverage. 1. Weekly Newsletter

Starting soon, we’ll be sending out a weekly email newsletter packed with highlights, stories, and must-read updates. This is our way of keeping you informed on all things Press Pass, from event coverage and athlete spotlights to any special announcements you won’t want to miss.

2. Annual Subscription – $35/year

Beginning later this month, our in-depth articles and coverage will require a Press Pass subscription at just $35 per year. By subscribing, you directly help us fund better coverage, invest in quality photography, and expand our reporting team. We’re passionate about shedding a bright light on our local sports community, and this support will keep our efforts going strong.

No Worries for Partner Posts: Certain features like Athlete of the Week (sponsored by First United Bank), Where Are They Now (sponsored by Ziggi’s Coffee), Sod Poodles articles, and Amarillo College partnership features will still be free to view.

3. Native Apple iOS and Android App

We’re proud to announce that a Press Pass app for iOS and Android will be coming this fall. Through the app, subscribers can enjoy our articles on the go, stay updated with push notifications, and explore exclusive content.

4. Enhanced Photo Galleries

This fall, we’re also introducing a revamped photo gallery experience. We know how important it is to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments on the field or court. You’ll soon have better access to images from all of our Press Pass Photographers—making it easier to find, save, and share your favorite shots.

5. Expansion to Lubbock

Last but certainly not least, Press Pass is heading to Lubbock for the 2025-2026 school year! By expanding our coverage to this region, we can shine our spotlight on even more teams and athletes, bringing the same passion and dedication you’ve come to expect from us in Amarillo.

Join Us in Supporting Local Sports

Your subscription isn’t just a purchase—it’s a contribution to the continued growth and celebration of our local sports scene. We’re grateful for every reader who has been with us on this journey, and we can’t wait to share everything we have in store.

From the entire Press Pass team, thank you for your unwavering support. We look forward to bringing you even more in-depth stories, unforgettable photos, and the best local sports coverage possible.

Stay tuned for more updates, and remember to sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know about new features, app launch details, and so much more!
