Vida Fierro, Dumas, OF, 5-6, Jr.
The Dumas slugger became a sophomore sensation for the Demonettes last season. The All-State selection hit .443 on the year with 14 homers, 10 doubles with a pair of triples. Fierro scored 69 runs drove in 50 runs and had a fielding percentage of .986.
Landri Holcomb, Randall, C, 5-7, Sr.
Holcomb became a leader for the Randall Raiders last season and that expectation is even bigger heading into this year. Behind the dish, Holcomb managed her pitching staff while carrying a fielding percentage of .975. Offensively, Holcomb hit .424 with eight homers totaling 58 RBIs. Holcomb is committed to play at West Texas A&M.
Brylee Baker, Amarillo High, OF/IF, 5-4, Jr.
Amarillo High is always one of the better teams in the Texas Panhandle and Baker is a big reason why. Playing mostly outfield, Baker showed off her glove with a .971 fielding percentage. Baker can also swing the bat hitting .450 a year ago with 15 doubles to go with 42 RBIs and 57 runs scored.
Kylee Jordan, Bushland, C/IF, 5-7, Jr.
Bushland will have a new look to them with the loss of a stellar senior class but the expectations never change. Jordan is the next player up in a long list of great players for the Lady Falcons. A year ago, the first-team All-District infielder hit .490 with 10 home runs and finished with 50 RBIs.
Jaylen Kaps, West Plains, P, 5-6, Jr.
Kaps is coming off an incredible sophomore season for the West Plains Lady Wolves. The right-handed hurler was named the District 4-4A Defensive MVP with her ability to handcuff hitters in the circle. Kaps ended the year tossing 210 innings racking up an incredible 331 strikeouts carrying a 3.15 ERA.
Aaliyah Chairez, Dumas, C/3B, 5-3, Jr.
Chairez is part of a stacked junior class that helped Dumas to a tremendous year in 2024. At the plate, carried a .457 average with on base percentage of .533. Chairez added five home runs with 43 RBIs and 18 doubles. Defensively, she caught 200 innings and committed only two errors in 186 chances.
Briley Daniels, Pampa, OF, 5-4, Sr.
Pampa made a deep playoff push last year and Daniels is ready to help make that happen again in 2025. The speedy outfielder and West Texas A&M commit hit .415 as a junior racking up 30 RBIs to go with four home runs. Daniels was honored as a first-team All-District selection.
Ava Sharp, River Road, P/OF, 5-9, Sr.
River Road is locked and loaded for a big year behind a nucleus of great players. Sharp is one of those veteran leaders returning. The West Texas A&M commit had a dominant junior campaign hitting .582 with 16 homers. In the circle, Sharp was just as solid racking up 101 strikeouts which helped her earn an All-State selection.
Carolyn Koval, River Road, P/OF, 5-9, Sr.
Along with Sharp, Koval makes up a pretty dynamic Lady Wildcats team that is ready to make a statement in 2025. The All-State selection last year led River Road in the circle with 120 strikeouts and did damage at the dish batting .500 on top of 13 home runs.
Maddie Hight, Canyon, IF, 5-7, Sr.
The Canyon Lady Eagles have lost a lot of familiar faces over the past few years, however, Hight is one that is very reliable and a player that can keep Canyon in the district race. A solid defensive first baseman, the senior made her name at the plate as a junior hitting .415 with 11 long balls. Hight is a West Texas A&M commit.
Grace Morales, Caprock, 5-5, OF/ P, Jr.
Morales is the versatile glue that keeps the Lady Longhorns together. Morales is a coach’s kid and has the IQ of one. Offensively last year Morales carried Caprock with an average of .582, adding nine homers and 30 RBIs. In the circle, Morales racked up 82 strikeouts in 20 appearances.
Kennadie Cummins, Clarendon, P/IF, 5-5, Sr.
Cummins has been a staple at the Class 2A level and a true leader on and off the field for the Clarendon Lady Broncos. Cummins is the reigning two-time District MVP hitting .544 a year ago with eight homers, 14 doubles, and finished with 36 RBIs. Cummins was also 14-2 in the circle carrying an impressive 1.91 ERA totaling 137 K’s.
Ansley Parr, Childress, P/IF, 5-6, Soph.
A name to keep an eye on is definitely Ansley Parr in 2025. Living in Childress, Parr doesn’t get the recognition she deserves. As a freshman last year, Parr was flat out unbelievable in the circle for the Lady Bobcats throwing a total of 156 innings while stacking up 329 strikeouts and carried an ERA of 1.70. For her tremendous season, Parr was named the District 2-3A Defensive MVP.
Cylin Saxon, Borger, IF, 5-6, Sr.
Saxon returns with a healthy teammate in Emilee Bridges with the hopes of a playoff push for the Borger Lady Bulldogs this year. Saxon stepped up for head coach Sydney Trayler last season, hitting .422 at the plate with a pair of homers on top of 10 doubles and 25 singles.
Chayney Snelson, Bushland, C/IF, 5-6, Jr.
With the loss of a talented senior class, Snelson is going to be counted on to carry on the proud tradition of Lady Falcons softball. Snelson is more than capable after earning first-team All-District catcher honors a year ago. She’s especially solid at the plate hitting .496 last year with seven home runs while driving in 37.
