Adams handcuffed the Lady Eagles to one hit throwing five scoreless innings while rolling up 12 strikeouts. Thanks to those 12 strikeouts, Adams was able to achieve a special milestone going over 700 K’s for her illustrious career.

The senior slugger also did damage at the dish going 3-for-3 with a home run and a double to finish with two RBIs.

On the season, Adams is 14-2 in the circle boasting a 1.50 ERA throwing two perfect games with a total of 181 strikeouts.

Head coach Tayler Frye: “Brylee’s leadership is incredible. Even when she is not having the best game she is cheering just as loud for her teammates. When she isn’t on the field, it is felt. She is such a strong leader that not only the younger girls look up to, but the seniors do as well. Brylee’s legacy at Bushland is something we hope younger players look at and strive to achieve. She has been one of the most impactful players on our team.”

Adams: “Being a senior I’m just taking it all in as much as I can. I’m making the most of each game and each practice. This is my last time playing with this team and some of my best friends so no doubt our goal is to go all the way to state. I love the chemistry on this team it’s very special. I think right now I’m healthy and I’m peaking at the right time. I’m pitching really well and reaching my potential at the plate. We just want to keep going and getting better.”
