Players to watch

Thomas Tran, 5-foot-9, 215-pounds, OL-DL, Sr.

Playing at left tackle, Tran has been a leader for the Hornets since the regime for head coach Ty Stout started.

Luis Morales, 6-foot-2, 160-pounds, WR-DB, Sr.

There is expectation for Morales to step up from his junior year and play a pivotal role on both sides of the ball at receiver and in the Highland Park secondary.

Josh Marler, 5-foot-10, 195-pounds, QB, Jr.

Marler has the tough task of stepping into the big shoes left by two-year starter Brady Thompson, who graduated in May. Marler played well on the JV last season and will be looked upon to fill the QB role.
