District 2-5A Division I
Who’s in: Abilene High, Lubbock Cooper, Amarillo High
Who’s alive: Tascosa, Lubbock Coronado, Lubbock Monterey
Who’s out: Caprock
Abilene High (8-2, 6-0): The Eagles soared through the regular season with the district title and No. 1 seed.
Lubbock Cooper (6-3, 4-1): Cooper is the No. 2 seed even if it closes out district with a loss at home to Caprock.
Amarillo High (4-5, 3-2): Locked in as the No. 3 seed with a win over Monterey. Could drop to the No. 4 seed with a loss of 10 for more points to Monterey.
Tascosa (3-5, 2-3): Tascosa does not hold destiny in its own hands as some crazy scenarios exist. For instance, if Monterey beats AHS by double digits, Tascosa could beat Coronado and still be out of the playoffs. Now, it can also get simple. If Tascosa handles business and beats Coronado and AHS beats Monterey, then Tascosa is the No. 4 seed and in the playoffs for the sixth consecutive year.
Lubbock Monterey (4-5, 2-3): Still alive for a playoff berth but it’s simple – the Plainsmen must beat Amarillo High by double digits to have its best chance for the playoffs. Lose and it’s over.
Lubbock Coronado (2-7, 1-4): If Coronado beats Tascosa by 15 points and Lubbock Monterey loses, the Mustangs win the tiebreaker on plus points as all three would own 2-4 records. Lose and Coronado is out.
District 2-5A Division II
Who’s in: Wichita Falls Rider, Abilene Wylie, Abilene Cooper
Who’s alive: Plainview, Palo Duro
Who’s out: Lubbock High.
Wichita Falls Rider (7-2, 4-0): The No. 1 seed and close out district unbeaten with a home win over struggling Lubbock High.
Abilene Wylie (6-3, 3-1): A win over rival Abilene Cooper and Wylie owns the No. 2 seed. A loss and Wylie is the No. 3 seed.
Abilene Cooper (6-3, 3-1): A win over rival Abilene Wylie and Cooper owns the No. 2 seed. A loss and Cooper is the No. 3 seed.
Plainview (5-4, 1-3): It’s simple. Beat Palo Duro and the Bulldogs are in as the No. 4 seed. Lose to Palo Duro and the season is over. This is the exact scenario a year ago and PD won 35-32.
Palo Duro (3-5, 1-3): It’s simple for the Dons. Beat Plainview at home in Dick Bivins Stadium and celebrate with the home fans as the No. 4 seed. Lose and the season is over. The Dons wore these same cleats last year (except the game was at Plainview) and answered the bell with a 35-32 win.

District 3-4A Division I
Who’s in: Randall, Canyon, Dumas, Hereford
Who’s out: Pampa
Randall (6-4, 3-1): The Raiders are finished with their regular season as they have the open date this week. They’ll win a share of the district championship no matter what, but they’ll be the No. 1 seed if Canyon loses to Pampa. If Canyon wins and Dumas loses to Hereford, Randall is the No. 2 seed. A Canyon win and a Dumas win would make the Raiders the No. 3 seed.
Canyon (7-2, 2-1): Eagles will clinch the No. 1 seed by beating Pampa. A loss would put them at either a No. 2 or 3 seed depending on the outcome of Dumas and Hereford.
Dumas (4-5, 2-1): Dumas will get the No. 2 seed with a win over Hereford. If the Demons lose and Canyon loses, it will come down to positive points, and Dumas will be no better than a No. 3 seed if that happens. Should Canyon win and Dumas lose, the Demons will fall to a No. 4 seed.
Hereford (6-3, 1-2): Hereford can get the No. 2 seed with a lopsided win and a Canyon loss. A win by 10 points or more guarantees the Herd will snag no worse than the No. 3 seed. Any loss means Hereford will be the No. 4 seed.
District 2-4A Division II
Who’s in: West Plains, Seminole, Perryton, Borger
Who’s out: Levelland
West Plains (8-1, 3-0): The Wolves are guaranteed the No. 1 playoff seed and will clinch the outright district title by beating Borger.
Seminole (8-1, 2-1): Seminole will get the No. 2 seed by beating Perryton. If the Indians lose they’ll get the No. 3 seed.
Perryton (3-6, 2-1): Perryton will claim the No. 2 seed by beating Seminole. If the Rangers lose and Borger wins, they’ll claim the No. 3 seed.
Borger (4-5, 1-2): Borger will be the No. 4 seed, as the Bulldogs lost to both Seminole and Perryton.

District 2-3A Division I
Who’s in: Bushland, Dalhart, Muleshoe, Shallowater
Who’s out: River Road
Bushland (9-1, 4-0): The Falcons have finished the regular season and are the outright district champion as well as the No. 1-seed.
Dalhart (7-2, 2-1): The Golden Wolves can clinch second place and the No. 2-seed with a home win over Muleshoe.
Muleshoe (7-2, 1-2): This is where it gets tricky. If Muleshoe beats Dalhart by 10 points, the Mules will be all alone in second place. A loss drops the Mules to the fourth and final spot.
Shallowater (4-5, 1-2): Can move into the No. 3 spot with a win over River Road and a Dalhart victory over Muleshoe.
District 3-3A Division II
Who’s in: Canadian, Childress, Friona
Who’s alive: Spearman, Dimmitt, Tulia
Who’s out: Nobody
Canadian (9-0, 4-0): Can clinch the outright district championship and finish the year undefeated with a win at Dimmitt.
Childress (6-3, 3-1): Will clinch the No. 2-seed with a road win at Friona.
Friona (5-4, 3-1): Will be the second-place team with a home victory against Childress.
Spearman (3-6, 1-3): Can clinch the fourth and final playoff spot with a win against Tulia.
Dimmitt (2-7, 1-3): It’s an extremely slim chance, but the Bobcats can make the playoffs with a win over Canadian and a Spearman loss to Tulia.
Tulia (1-8, 0-4): Tulia has to beat Spearman by 15 points or more and have Canadian beat Dimmitt to force a three-way tie for fourth.

District 1-2A Division I
Who’s in: Stratford, Panhandle, Farwell, West Texas High
Who’s out: Highland Park, Sanford-Fritch
Stratford (9-0, 4-0): The Elks can take the outright district title and end the year unbeaten with a win against West Texas High.
Panhandle (8-1, 3-1): The Panthers will be second place and the No. 2-seed with a victory at Farwell. A loss and Panhandle is third.
Farwell (7-2, 3-1): The Steers can claim the second place and No. 2-seed with a home win over Panhandle. A loss and Farwell takes the third spot.
West Texas High (4-5, 2-2): The Comanches are locked in the fourth and final playoff spot.
District 1-2A Division II
Who’s in: Gruver, Sunray, Vega, Boys Ranch
Who’s out: Nobody
Gruver (7-2, 2-0): With Booker dropping to Six-Man late last spring, this district was allowed to print playoff shirts over the summer. Regardless, seeding is always important. Gruver can clinch the outright district title with a victory against Boys Ranch on Thursday.
Sunray (7-2, 1-1): The Bobcats will be the No. 2-seed with a victory over Vega on Friday. A loss drops the Bobcats to the third spot.
Vega (2-6, 1-1): Can be second place and the No. 2-seed with a win at Sunray on Friday. A loss and the Longhorns are the third-place team.
Boys Ranch (2-7, 0-2): The Roughriders are the fourth and final seed out of the district.
District 2-2A Division II
Who’s in: Wellington, Clarendon, Wheeler
Who’s alive: Shamrock, Quanah
Who’s out: Memphis
Wellington (7-2, 4-0): The Skyrockets can keep a firm hold on the district title and the No. 1-seed with a home win on Senior Night against Clarendon. A loss and Wellington is second.
Clarendon (6-3, 4-0): The upstart Broncos will be the outright district champion and No. 1-seed with a win at Wellington. A loss to the Skyrockets and Clarendon is the No. 2-seed.
Wheeler (3-6, 2-2): The Mustangs are in as the No. 3-seed out of the district.
Shamrock (4-5, 1-3): The Irish get into the playoffs and take the fourth and final spot with a victory against struggling Memphis.
Quanah (1-8, 1-3): The Indians chances aren’t as good as Shamrock’s, but Quanah can sneak into the fourth spot with a win over Wheeler plus and Irish loss to Memphis.
District 3-2A Division II
Who’s in: Lockney, Sudan, Ralls, Hale Center
Who’s out: Bovina, Crosbyton
Lockney (6-3, 3-1): Can be the No. 1-seed with a win over Bovina on Friday.
Ralls (6-3, 3-1): Will be the No. 2-seed with a win over Sudan. Could be a No. 1-seed with a Lockney loss.
Sudan (6-3, 3-1): Will be the No. 2-seed with a victory over Ralls. Could be a No. 1-seed with a Lockney loss.
Hale Center (3-6, 2-2): Looks to be the fourth seed but it’s possible Hale Center can move up to the third spot if Lockney loses and Sudan wins.

Who’s In: Miami
Who’s Alive: Follett, McLean
Who’s out: White Deer
Miami (9-0, 2-0): Are the district champions and No. 1-seed.
Follett (6-3, 1-1): A win over McLean at home and the Panthers are the No. 2 seed. A loss and Follett misses the playoffs.
McLean (7-2, 1-1): A win at Follett and the Tigers are the No. 2 seed. A loss and McLean is eliminated.
District 2-1A Division I
Who’s In: Happy
Who’s Alive: Nazareth, Claude
Who’s out: Wildorado
Happy (8-1, 2-0): Claims the No. 1-seed and district title with win over Claude. However, a loss to the Mustangs on top of a Wildorado win against Nazareth and the Cowboys are the No. 2-seed.
Nazareth (3-6, 1-1): The Swifts grab the No. 2-seed with a win over Wildorado.
Claude (3-6, 1-1): A win over Happy by 12 or more points and the Mustangs will be the district champs. A win over Happy by less than 12 points and they are the No. 2 seed. A loss and a Wildorado win, and they are in. A loss to the Cowboys and a Nazareth win and Claude is out.
District 3-1A Division I
Who’s In: Springlake-Earth, Kress
Who’s Out: Anton, Lorenzo, Petersburg
Springlake-Earth (6-3, 3-0): A win over Kress at home and the Wolverines are the district champions. A loss to the Kangaroos puts Earth as the No. 2-seed.
Kress (4-5, 3-0): A win over Springlake-Earth on the road gives Kress the district championship and top spot. A loss to the Wolverines and the Kangaroos will be the No. 2-seed.
District 4-1A Division I
Who’s in: Nobody
Who’s Alive: Knox City, Valley, Spur
Who’s Out: Vernon Northside
Knox City (9-0, 2-0): Will be the top seed with a win over Spur at home.
Valley (4-5, 1-1): Will be the No. 2-seed with a road win over Northside.
Spur (2-7, 1-1): The Bulldogs are technically still alive, but their odds of getting to the postseason is extremely slim. Spur needs to beat Knox City and have Valley lose to Northside.
District 1-1A Division II
Who’s In: Silverton, Groom
Who’s Out: Darrouzett, Lefors, Hedley
Silverton (8-2, 4-0): The Owls are the district champions and No. 1-seed.
Groom (5-5, 3-1): The Tigers finished second and are the No. 2-seed.
