Coach Abbey Wehrman: “Both matches were high intensity, and Mikalie was the main threat for us because she is playing great defense to go on top of her already impressive offensive game. She has become a well-rounded player and more importantly she’s learned how to become a great leader on and off the floor. She brings great energy; she keeps the team engaged in tight games and she’ll do anything to win. She’s fun to be around off the floor as well and she’s just a student of the game.”

Floyd: “I think going into the Canyon game we all just really wanted to win. We played with such high intensity and confidence, and we were able to get that win. Dumas was scrappy and hard to score on, so I knew my defense had to be as good as it has been all year. I’ve never played in games or sets like the Dumas game. That was intense from start to finish. We’re just wanting to carry the momentum we have now and finish the year strong, and I want to continue to be a better leader every day and be there for the team. As for myself, I just want to keep getting better in the back row and keep moving around the floor as much as I can.”
