Football is officially back as most area squads played their first scrimmage of the year. Thoughts on what we saw and heard across the area from 5A to six-man. Also, an update on Valley’s Blake Beard who suffered a critical injury in action Friday night and a quick look at the Dallas Cowboys.
The volleyball season is in full gear and our area squads were competing across the state with West Plains picking up their first tournament championship in school history and Amarillo High, Hereford and Bushland starting out the season strong.
