District 2-6A

Who’s in: Midland Lee, Odessa Permian, Frenship, Tascosa.

Who’s out: Odessa High, Midland High.

How it shakes out

Midland Lee (9-0, 4-0): Can wrap up the district title, and

clinch the Division I top-seed with a win over rival Odessa Permian.

Odessa Permian (5-4, 3-1): Can clinch a share of district title and be Division I No. 1-seed with win against hated Midland Lee.

Tascosa: (7-3, 3-2): By beating Frenship 36-23 the Rebels are the Class 6A Division II top-seed out of the district and could host a bidistrict game.

Frenship (7-3, 3-2): With the loss to Tascosa, Frenship is the Class 6A Division II No. 2-seed

District 2-5A Division I

Who’s in: Abilene Cooper, Amarillo High, Lubbock Coronado, Lubbock Monterey.

Who’s out: Lubbock High, Palo Duro, Caprock.

How it shakes out

Abilene Cooper (9-0, 5-0): Clinches the outright district title and No. 1-seed with a win at Amarillo High.

Amarillo High (7-2, 5-0): Clinches the outright district title and No. 1-seed with a home win against Abilene Cooper.

Coronado (6-4, 4-2): Clinched the third seed out of the district with a 40-14 win against Caprock.

Monterey (4-5, 2-3): Earned the fourth and final playoff spot Thursday night with Coronado’s win against Caprock.

Caprock (2-8, 2-4): Were eliminated from playoff contention.

District 3-5A Division II

Who’s in: Lubbock Cooper, Wichita Falls Rider, Randall.

Still alive: Abilene Wylie, Wichita Falls High.

Who’s out: Plainview.

How it shakes out

Lubbock Cooper (8-1, 4-0): Are the district champions, and No. 1-seed.

Wichita Falls Rider (5-4, 3-1): Can get the No. 2-seed with a victory against rival Wichita Falls High.

Randall (3-6, 2-2): Have earned a playoff spot, and will either be the third or fourth-seed.

Wichita Falls High (3-6, 2-2) : Are in if Lubbock Cooper beats Randall, regardless if Abilene Wylie wins. That means, Old High’s game against Rider comes to a seeding game for second and third place.

Abilene Wylie (1-8, 1-3): The only way the Bulldogs have a chance at the postseason is if they beat Plainview and Randall beats Lubbock Cooper.

District 3-4A Division I

Who’s in: Dumas, Pampa, Hereford, Canyon.

Who’s out:No one.

How it shakes out

Dumas (9-0, 2-0): Clinches the district title and top-seed

with a home win against Hereford.

Pampa (7-2, 1-1): Earns the No. 2-seed with a victory at Canyon.

Hereford (5-4, 1-1): Can earn a co-district championship with a win at Dumas. If Canyon beats Pampa, Hereford can claim the No. 1-seed.

Canyon (6-3, 0-2): Can still earn the two-seed if they beat Pampa by 11 points or more, and Dumas beats Hereford.

District 2-4A Division II

Who’s in: Lubbock Estacado, Dalhart, Levelland.

Still alive: Borger, Perryton.

Who’s out: No one.

How it shakes out

Estacado (9-0, 4-0): Can nab top-seed and district title with win at Levelland.

Dalhart (6-4, 3-1): Dalhart season is complete. The Golden Wolves are locked in as the two-seed unless Levelland beats Estacado.

Levelland (4-5, 2-1): Can grab No. 2-seed with home win over Estacado.

Perryton and Borger (1-8, 0-3): Winner of this game gets fourth and final playoff spot.

District 2-3A Division I

Who’s in: Bushland, Shallowater, Slaton.

Still alive: Littlefield, River Road.

Who’s out: Muleshoe.

How it shakes out

Bushland (9-0, 4-0): Already clinched No. 1-seed out of the district.

Shallowater (5-4, 3-1): Can earn the No. 2-seed with a home win against Slaton.

Slaton (5-4, 2-2): Clinches No. 2-seed if they can beat Shallowater by nine points or more.

Littlefield (4-5, 2-2): Will be the No. 3-seed with a win at River Road, and Shallowater win against Slaton.

River Road (3-6, 1-3): Earns a playoff spot if Shallowater beats Slaton and they beat Littlefield by seven points or more. If Slaton beats Shallowater, it’s head to head with Littlefield for final spot.

District 3-3A Division II

Who’s in: Canadian, Childress, Friona, Spearman.

Who’s out: Tulia, Dimmitt.

How it shakes out

The district is set. Canadian is the No. 1-seed, followed by Childress, Friona and Spearman.

District 1-2A Division I

Who’s in: West Texas High, Panhandle, Highland Park, Sanford-Fritch.

Who’s out: Sunray, Boys Ranch.

How it shakes out

The district is set. West Texas High is the No. 1-seed, followed by Panhandle, Highland Park and Sanford-Fritch.

District 2-2A Division II

Who’s in: Sudan, Farwell, Seagraves, Bovina,

Who’s out: Plains, Springlake-Earth.

How it shakes out

Sudan (8-1, 4-0): Clinches district title and top-seed with win at Farwell.

Farwell (7-2, 4-0): Clinches district title and top-seed with home victory against Sudan.

Seagraves (4-5, 2-2): Locked in as No. 3-seed.

Bovina (4-6, 2-3): Clinched the fourth and final playoff spot with a 47-12 win against Earth.

Earth (2-8, 1-4): Eliminated from playoff contention.

District 3-2A Division II

Who’s in: Stratford, Gruver, Clarendon, Vega.

Who’s out: Booker.

How it shakes out

Stratford (8-1, 3-0): Clinches outright district championship and top-seed with home win against Gruver.

Gruver (6-3, 2-1): Can clinch a share of district title and earn No. 1-seed with road win at Stratford.

Clarendon (6-3, 2-1): Nabs second spot in district with win against Vega and Stratford win against Gruver.

Vega (6-3, 1-2): Can still earn two-seed if they beat Clarendon by more than 12 points, and Stratford beats Gruver.

District 5-2A Division II

Who’s in: Wellington, Wheeler, Quanah, Shamrock.

Who’s out: Memphis, Munday.

How it shakes out

This is a simple scenario. The Wellington-Wheeler winner is the district champion and top-seed. The loser snags the No. 2-seed.

Quanah and Shamrock winner is the three-seed, while the loser takes the fourth spot.

District 1-1A Division I

Who’s in: McLean.

Still alive: White Deer, Valley.

Who’s out: Miami.

How it shakes out

McLean has clinched the district title and will be the No. 1-seed. The winner of White Deer and Valley gets the second and final playoff spot.

District 2-1A Division I

Who’s in: No one.

Still alive: Petersburg, Happy, Nazareth.

Who’s out: Hart, Lorenzo

How it shakes out

Petersburg (5-3, 3-0): A win against Nazareth clinches the district championship and No. 1-seed. A loss to Nazareth of 13 points or less coupled with a Happy win and they are the second seed. A loss to Nazareth of more than 13 points and they are out.

Happy (6-3, 2-1): A win against Lorenzo coupled with a Petersburg victory and they are the second seed. A win against Lorenzo with a Nazareth win gives them a district title, and the top-seed. A loss and a Nazareth loss and they are the second seed. A loss and a Nazareth victory leaves them out.

Nazareth (5-3, 2-1): A loss to Petersburg or a victory of 13 or fewer points, and a Happy win and they are out. A loss and a Happy loss and they are out. A victory of more than 13 points and a Happy win and they are the second seed. A victory and a Happy loss and they are the district champs.
