Press Pass Sports Editor Kale Steed and KAMR/KCIT-TV Sports Director Clint Brakebill break down an absolutely wild final week of the regular season of the high school football season across the Texas Panhandle.

After the UIL mandated Amarillo High to forfeit six games for playing an ineligible player Friday morning, the Sandies knocked off rival Tascosa 63-21 on Friday night, then won a coin flip later in the evening to clinch the fourth and final playoff spot out of District 2-5A Division I.

Canadian rolled past Childress 49-27 to claim the outright District 1-3A Division II title and Shallowater got by Dalhart 42-34 to win the District 1-3A Division I championship. West Texas High also completed an unbeaten season at 10-0 and Palo Duro won its first outright district championship for the first time since 2004.
