PLAYERS TO WATCH

Drayden Ray, 5-foot-7, 160-pounds, RB, Sr.

Ray took over the running back duties early last year and became the feature back for the Randall Raiders. Becoming a force by the week, the shifty Ray finished the season with 571 yards and six touchdowns. He also showed his ability to get out of the backfield snagging 28 catches for 271 yards with two more scores.

Isael Medina, 6-foot-2, 275-pounds, DL, Sr.

Medina has the size and the strength to give Randall a presence on the defensive front and stop the run game while providing pressure on the opponents quarterback. As a junior, Medina just got better and better as a run stopper and is expected for even bigger things this year.

Danny Nunez, 5-foot-7, 190-pounds, LB, Sr.

With Medina providing the blocking up front, that gives Nunez lanes to make the plays. Nunez is a speedy linebacker that can cover the field sideline to sideline and get into the backfield. Though he isn’t the biggest in size, Nunez will be a player highly depended on by head coach Dan Sherwood.
