Players to watch
Briggs Satterfield, 6-1, 170-pounds, QB, Sr.
Satterfield has become one of the top signal callers in the Texas Panhandle and across the state at the small school level. The dual-threat QB can beat you with his arm but is just as deadly with his feet. In 2024, Satterfield was a huge reason the Greyhounds were a game away from AT&T Stadium throwing for 2,935 yards while rushing for 935 yards for a combined 55 touchdowns.
Victor Flores, 5-9, 185-pounds, LB, Sr.
Flores made an immediate impact at the linebacker position for the Greyhounds last season. He isn’t the biggest but can fly all over the football field and has a nose for the ball. Flores tallied 127 tackles a year ago, 21 of those for a loss with three sacks.
Brock Butler, 5-10, 150-pounds, WR-DB, Sr.
Whether he’s playing offense or defense, Butler is a gamechanger for the Greyhounds. He is a valuable asset for Satterfield snagging 38 catches a year ago for 703 yards with six touchdowns. Defensively in the secondary, Butler was in on 84 tackles with two interception returns for TDs.
