A Lifetime of Coaching and Milestones

With 35 years of coaching experience, Ray Barbosa Jr. has dedicated his career to shaping young athletes. Currently leading the boys’ high school basketball team at Holy Cross Catholic Academy, he reflects on his proudest achievements, including reaching the TAPPS 2A Elite Eight twice in his career.

But Coach Barbosa isn’t stopping there—this season, his goal is to take his team to the Final Four and win a state championship. Whether facing tough opponents like Wildorado or celebrating milestone victories, his passion for the game remains unwavering.
