A Quarter Century of Coaching Excellence

Phillip Wiggins has spent 25 years in coaching, shaping athletes across multiple sports, including football, basketball, and track. His journey has taken him through several Texas schools, including Palo Duro, Sunray, Bushland, Vega, River Road, and Sanford-Fritch, before landing at Gruver ISD.

Among his most memorable moments is the 2024 Regional Track Meet, a testament to his dedication and the success of his athletes. Facing tough opponents like the Brock Eagles has refined his coaching approach, but it’s his consistent focus on growth and development that sets him apart.
