Players to watch

Broxton Robinson, 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, QB-LB, Jr.

Robinson not only caught eyes as a newcomer but was a lot of choices for MVP after the sophomore sensation took Panhandle by storm on both sides of the ball last year. On the offensive side, Robinson stepped right in at quarterback accounting for 3,910 yards while making 109 tackles on defense.

Brayson Choate, 6-foot, 200-pounds, RB-LB, Sr.

On the offensive side of the ball, Choate helps take the focus off Broxton out of the backfield thanks to rushing for 667 yards last year. On the defensive side, Choate makes up a strong linebacking core coming off 132 tackles a season ago.

Gavin Brookshire, 6-foot-1, 245-pounds, OL-DL, Jr.

The offense can’t work without a great line and Brookshire is a durable one that helps the Panthers go. Paving the way for Panhandle’s explosive offense, Brookshire graded out at 92 percent last season. The junior is also big on stopping the run on the defensive line making 86 tackles with an eye-popping 12 sacks.
